MCEDC Creates New Website to Connect Businesses and Job Seekers
On Monday, August 24th, the Morris County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) introduced a new website designed to connect local companies with local job seekers in Morris County. The website, www.connecttomorris.com, will be utilized as a hyper-local resource where businesses and employers in the community can post job opportunities, business profiles, and media to share the operation and benefits of working within their company. In addition to creating a platform for businesses to share employment opportunities and promote themselves, the website also enables Morris County talent to post their resumes for prospective employers to view. Additionally, the website also provides career exploration, education, and training guidance to students, publishes hiring events for users to either participate or mark on their calendars, and provides information about Morris County’s key industries, quality life, etc.
The MCEDC, which is a division of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce, launched the website with support from the Morris County Board of Freeholders, and in coordination with the Morris/Sussex/Warren Workforce Development Board. The goal of the website is to ensure that everyone in our community is aware of the jobs, careers, and opportunities available within the county.
