Business Spotlight: SubUrban Bar & Kitchen

Co-Owner and Chef, Christopher Masey, worked with partners to re-launch what was previously known as the Morris Tap & Grill, to create SubUrban Bar & Kitchen. Since its opening in October 2019, the restaurant and bar, located at 500 Route 10, has thrived and become a great dining destination for individuals in the community and surrounding Morris County area.

The ‘New American’ style restaurant specializes in offering comfort food with creative twists providing diners with modern takes on classic American dishes. In addition to its unique menu, SubUrban Bar & Kitchen offers a large assortment of fine wines, and craft and bottled beers while also offering outdoor dining options, catering and delivery services. The restaurant frequently hosts themed events such as trivia nights, comedy shows and line-ups of bands and musicians, establishing it as a great place for the community to gather, and earning the restaurant a positive ‘word of mouth’ reputation. The SubUrban Bar & Kitchen team hopes to continue to engage with the community in the future to sponsor local organizations, events, and teams.
